| A NOTE FROM THE DIVISION Thank you for serving on assignment this summer at Trail West Lodge and Wilderness Ranch! Earlier this fall… Areas requested camp spots, and we allocated over 26,000 spots for campers and leaders from our divisions to go to camp. We allocated 782 work crew spots to the regions in our divisions so high school friends can serve around the country. Summer staff applications went live, and your college friends started to be hired to serve at camps around the country as well. Our Camp Staff have been praying and preparing to welcome the first session in a little over 4 months from now. During the second week of December, Regional Directors and other leaders from your region gathered to place over 340 staff into assigned team positions for the summer. We prayed and placed and thanked the Lord for this holy task. Now, YOU are part of the symphony that will hum and whirr and come together into a great sound this summer. That practice begins now as you meet your team and plan to attend the Assigned Team Training at Trail West Lodge. See below for the details you need to plan your travel and register by January 30. | ATTENDANCE Every staff person serving on an assignment is expected to attend Assigned Team Training and stay for the complete event. Missing Assigned Team Training, or leaving early for any reason, requires regional approval. |
| TRAVEL Please make every effort to book a flight for the cost of $450 or less. Flights costing more than $450 may not be reimbursed in full by the division. Airfare should be purchased using your PCard and coded to Travel & Conference in Workday. Full airfare receipts should be uploaded and submitted via the registration form below for reimbursement. Flights booked after the deadline will not be reimbursed. Flights should arrive at Denver International Airport (DEN) by 12:00 PM MST on March 3. Flights should depart later than 3:30 PM MST on March 5. A shuttle will be provided to and from the airport. Rental cars to and from the airport will not be reimbursed. Note: We are unable to pay for early boarding or premium seats on flights. Also, we will not reimburse fees for checked bags. If you are unable to fulfill your assignment after you have purchased your plane ticket, your area will be responsible for the cost of the ticket. |
